Needed in Morro Bay, CA. Duties include: Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions weekly; Updating & maintaining general ledger bi-weekly; Reconciling entries into accounting system; Recording debits & credits; Maintaining trial balance through general ledger reconciliation; Conducting account reconciliation; Monitoring any variances from projected budget; Producing weekly accounts payable to owner; Processing weekly payroll including certified payrolls; Reconciling & confirming all cash receipts, deposits, & notifying owner of any discrepancies immediately; Producing all concession accounting in accordance with deadlines specified; Producing & completing in-house accounts annual accounts by February of year end; Working on prevailing wage jobs. Required qualifications: 1+ yrs accounting exp.; 1+ yrs data entry exp.; 1+ yrs exp. using QuickBooks; Knowledge of U.S. GAAP; Proficiency in MS Excel including Pivot Tables. Exp. using Foundation Accounting Software is a plus. 16-20 hrs/wk. Part-time position. Wage: $27.00-$30.00 hr. (#4.1213.106 – San Luis Obispo)
