Class A Driver

Needed in Paso Robles, CA. Will be responsible for transporting materials to various locations throughout Central Coast & Southern California & ensuring safe & timely delivery of products while providing excellent customer service. Duties include: Safely operating Class A vehicle to transport materials to assigned delivery locations; Loading & unloading materials at each delivery site, ensuring correct products are delivered & received; Planning routes effectively to maximize efficiency & meet delivery schedules; Conducting pre-trip & post-trip inspections of vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition; Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, & fuel consumption; Following all traffic laws & regulations, as well as company policies & procedures; Communicating effectively with dispatch & customers to provide updates & resolve any delivery issues; Assisting with other duties as needed. Required qualifications: Valid Class A Commercial driver's license (CDL); 1+ yrs Class A driving exp.; Acceptable driving record; Strong knowledge of traffic laws & safe driving practices; Ability to lift heavy items & perform physical labor; Excellent communication & customer service skills; Ability to work independently & manage time effectively. Exp. in loading & unloading materials preferred. Familiarity with delivery routes throughout Central Coast & Southern California is a plus. Wage: $20.00 hr.
