Need up-beat person with can-do attitude to join customer service department at manufacturing facility in Fresno, CA. Will be responsible for processing & maintaining customer sales orders. To be successful in this role, candidate should possess ability to provide prompt & friendly service by actively responding to customer’s inquiries regarding pricing, inventory, & shipping status. This individual must have experience working with diverse range of customers & maintain calm & professional demeanor when faced with challenging situations. Duties include: Communicating with customers through various media platforms such as email, messaging, & via telephone; Processing orders promptly & accurately; Confirming pricing, ship date(s), & any other special instructions before returning order confirmation back to customer in timely manner; Maintaining accurate shipping dates, ship-to locations, & shipping facility; Monitoring & updating back-ordered items while communicating to customer & Sales Rep any possible delays or changes to order; Assisting Sales Team by sending out product samples as requested, providing information about customers’ past pricing structures & order history, & running inventory reports to provide accurate merchandise availability; Assisting other department with administrative tasks as requested, & performing other duties as assigned by members of company management; Attending & participating in staff meetings & company events as required; Determining resources & actions required to accomplish objectives; Setting priorities & managing time effectively to meet deadlines; Identifying potential problems & communicating well with supervisor to plan contingent actions, as appropriate; Performing all duties in accordance with company policies & procedures for safety & security including OSHA & other applicable state & local regulations. Required qualifications: High school diploma/equivalent; Min. 2 yrs exp. in office environment; Computer competence including MS Office suite; Excellent verbal & written English communication skills; Self-starter, able to take initiative & work independently with minimal supervision; Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills; Ability to manage & prioritize multiple tasks under deadline pressure; Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive company & employee information; Ability to work professionally with variety of personalities & avoid taking sides in personal disagreements; Highly organized; Customer-driven, seeking to satisfy customers’ needs with professionalism & timeliness & take pride in helping to create & maintain long-term customer relationships; Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously with others to get job done; Attitude that promotes positive work environment; Respectful of others; Able to communicate effectively with team members & provide constructive suggestions to improve team performance; Planning & time management skills; Present extraordinary morals & ethical values; Able to present facts in appropriate & professional manner; Able to keep confidential information & trade secrets protected; Able to admit mistakes & doesn’t misrepresent him/herself for personal gain. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. Previous exp. with Customer Service &/or Agriculture preferred.
