Line Cook

Needed to join kitchen staff at successful family-owned winery & restaurant. Great opportunity for individual who has weekend availability but prefers day shift schedule. Shifts typically end between approx. 6:00pm & 7:00pm during summer. You will prepare food by grilling, frying, & using other cooking methods, & will follow recipes to create delicious cuisine. Duties include: Following recipes to cook & plate warm food dishes; Setting up cook stations & stocking them with necessary supplies; Maintaining cleanliness & hygiene standards; Understanding how to properly use & maintain all station equipment. Required qualifications: Possess Food Handler Card or ability to complete training to obtain one; 1+ yrs prior restaurant exp. preparing hot meals using range of cooking methods, such as grilling & frying; Cooking skills; Ability to work weekends. Variable schedule, 5 days/week including weekends, between hours of 8:30am & 7:00pm. Full-time position. Wage: $18.00-$21.00 hr. (#5.0307.201 – Paso Robles)
