Machine Operator

Needed to set up & operate assigned equipment used in production of printed documents & manage manufacturing processes associated with assigned equipment, with emphasis on safety, productivity, quality, & good housekeeping. Duties include: Inputting accurate information into Pro Vision job tracking system; Accurately marking materials with proper identification; Consistently following quality control procedures & asking questions when needed; Efficiently setting up & performing all score, perforate, die cut, fold, &/or combinations of these operations; Performing adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain optimal performance; Troubleshooting any printing issues; Maintaining system that keeps all tools & supplies in orderly manner; Maintaining degree of flexibility in hours of work & availability for overtime work. Preparing orders for shipment in neat manner, utilizing shipping materials & shipping software; Standing for long periods of time. Required qualifications: 1 yr. exp.; Able to lift 50 lbs.; Able to occasionally walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, & use hands to finger & feel; Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, & ability to adjust focus; Comfortable in contact with & use of inks & cleaning chemicals. Shop floor work area where conditions are subject to temperature change. While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. 1st shift & Swing shift available. Wage: $17.00-$25.00 hr. DOE. (#4.0625.205 – Porterville)
