Material Handler

Need dedicated & hardworking individual to join warehouse team as Material Handler in Customer Service department for leading building supply company. Will play crucial role in ensuring customers receive best service & support. Duties include: Assisting customers with their orders, ensuring accuracy & efficiency; Pulling items from inventory based on customer requests & specifications, including operating forklift; Measuring, cutting materials to specifications & precise dimensions as per customer requirements; Maintaining clean & organized work environment, ensuring all tools & materials are properly stored; Assisting with loading & unloading materials & inventory; Providing high-quality customer service, addressing customer inquiries, & resolving any issues promptly & professionally; Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations & timely service delivery. Required qualifications: High school diploma/equivalent; Proficiency with basic math & ability to accurately take measurements; Ability to measure & cut materials accurately; Ability to operate forklift; Strong organizational skills & attention-to-detail; Excellent communication & interpersonal skills; Proactive & positive attitude, with willingness to learn & adapt. Previous exp. in customer service, warehousing, or labor position desired. Scheduled work hours vary & may include shifts Mon-Sat. Full-time, Temporary position offered through United Staffing.
