Tool Technician

Need Tool Technician with experience in compression molding for manufacturer in Paso Robles, CA. Duties include: Installing molds into compression molding machines; Verifying existing mold set ups; Starting & maintaining proven molds; Maintaining daily records of molding parameters; Submitting & monitoring molding condition table & other reports & checklist; Maintaining molding machines, molds, & molding area in clean & orderly condition; Performing process troubleshooting, part visual inspections, & various other functions to ensure part conformity & quality; Performing process verifications & evaluations of molds; Reviewing, proposing, & implementing process changes to improved production efficiency; Inspecting & monitoring process, including temperatures, machine parameters, & material properties; Resolving all molding quality issues. Required qualifications: High school diploma/equivalent; 1+ yrs prior compression molding exp. from set up to start up; Strong mechanical background; Basic computer skills including MS office; Ability to properly use basic compression molding tools; Ability to analyze & troubleshoot machines, molds, & setup problems & issues. Full-time position. Wage: $18.00-$20.00 hr. DOE. (#4.0802.101 – Paso Robles)
