Underground Construction Laborer

Hardworking & reliable Underground Construction Laborer needed in Monterey County. Will be involved with a variety of duties in support of underground utility installations. This is a hands-on role, requiring physical labor across multiple job sites, & is critical for the establishment, construction, & maintenance of underground utility projects. Duties include: Using hand tools & power equipment to perform tasks such as site prep, digging trenches, setting up, & clearing debris; Assisting with installation of wet utility systems; Working with heavy machinery operators; Managing traffic control around work zones to ensure safety; Performing various physically demanding tasks related to underground utility construction; Maintaining strict adherence to safety while working on projects; Taking on additional duties as required for project completion. Required qualifications: Ability to handle physical labor in diverse weather conditions; Familiarity with construction tools & equipment; Strong commitment to safety & attention-to-detail; Willingness to travel to different job sites as needed - including overnight travel when needed. Preferred qualifications: Prior exp. in underground utility work; Prior exp. with operating Heavy Equipment; Possession & exp. with Class A License.
